You will never be done

If you have ever fallen

and picked yourself up

only to fall again

and rise yet still –

you, will never be done.

If you have put yourself to

sleep, soaked in salty residues

of hurtful memories

and irrational imagination –

you, will never be done.

If you have ever woken up

wondering why you are here –

short sightedly surviving 5 minutes at a time –

Congratulations !

You, will never be done .

Your grass

will never be greener –

because that is not who you are.

Your grass will be strewn

with multi -colored flowers

and geometry on wings.

The scents and sounds of

your garden will be

the dreamer’s oasis.

And for this,

you, will never be done –

but it will still be

worthwhile.
